Birch Fitness offers small group fitness classes in a supportive, beginner-friendly environment. They challenge you mentally and physically in new and exciting ways with each class. Workout variations, workout durations, and workout equipment are altered daily, meaning a different workout each time you walk through the door.

What is the MetCon workout?
Metabolic Conditioning (MetCon) class is a 60 minute cardio based class that includes various movements and equipment. MetCon classes will begin with a general warm-up, followed by a movement specific warm-up, a Workout of the Day (WOD), then a cool-down and stretching.
MetCon’s Workout of the Day (WOD) will vary daily but normally be around 20 minutes. This type of short, but intense, workout will have you sweating and burning calories long after you leave the gym.
Each MetCon class will consist of multiple movements using light weights and high repetitions. Movements are all scaled to your fitness and comfort level. MetCon is the best class for overall, non specific, training. Consistent participation in MetCon classes will give you more energy throughout the day, increase strength, improve cardio, and help you tone and build lean muscle.
No experience necessary. Weights, movements, and pace of the workout are all scaled to fit your current fitness level.
